Dressed in 80ís metal attire, Reggie & the Full Effect took the stage and played a hilarious show that left the audience laughing through the night. The band consisted of James DeWees and Matthew Pryor of the Get Up Kids and Bill McShane, Eric Melin, and Nick Colby of Ultimate Fakebook. Filled with props, costumes, choreography, smoke machines, and strobe lights, the show seemed as if it were straight out of 1983. Reggie played a thorough set that included everything the overtly cheesy love ballad “Gloves” to the hardcore influenced “Something Iím Not”. Highlights of the night included a 5-minute gratuitous drum solo and an encore performance of “Dwarf Invasion” by Finnish metal band Common Denominators.
