Eminem and Marilyn Manson Join Forces at Reading Festival

In a meeting of the minds of the biggest shit stirrers of the US music industry of the last 5
years, Eminem and Marilyn Manson performed a duet at the Reading
Festival this weekend in the UK. Manson, whose band performed a set just prior to
Eminem’s Main Stage headlining slot on Sunday night, alluded to a possible pairing
during the Great White Hope’s set, but only if the crowd screamed their “balls off,” which
evidently happened. The duet was rumored to happen the night before, but Manson
somehow breathed in toxic fumes during his set and was unable to perform with
Eminem that evening. How does that happen, exactly?

The only other occurrence of note during the set was that Eminem ended his set by
asking for a minute of silence from the crowd, respecting the untimely passing of
Aaliyah the day prior.
