The self-proclaimed greatest band in the world, Tenacious D, are hitting the road in support of their self-titled debut album. The album, which includes the beautiful and tender Fuck Her Gently, a song singer Jack Black says is “for the ladies,” is scheduled to hit the shelves on September 25th. The “D” consists of two members, Jack Black, who you might know from such films as High Fidelity and Saving Silverman, and Kyle Gass who you might know from Tenacious D. The album will feature some very special guests, including Dave Grohl and Phish’s Dave McConnell, amongst others. The “D”’s tour will last about two months and will include stops at the Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night With Conan O’Brien. If you can’t check them out in person, these two TV appearances are sure to offer some tasteful and intellectually stimulating humor for the whole family.
