No New Oasis Material This Year, Band Never To Tour US Again?

Battling britpop brother band Oasis have announced that their single planned for
release in October has now been pushed back to 2002. The band had hoped to squeeze out
the single this year, in time for their sold out 10th anniversary shows in London, Manchester
and Glasgow, but it now seems fans will have to wait until next year for new material from
the Mancs.

In other Oasis news, frontman Liam Gallagher has stated he will never play
in the States again, in the wake of the terrorist attacks. “I ain’t fucking going to New York
again. I’m never going to America again, man. I’m staying put. I ain’t getting on a plane for a
long time,” he so eloquently stated. Liam talks a lot of shit, however, and the band
has made a lot of hot-headed promises they haven’t kept, so there’s hope yet if you desire to
see Oasis in the USA again.
