Neil Innes, of the Rutles and Bonzo Dog Band fame will be joined on stage by indie faves, Yo La Tengo for a few East Coast shows in New York, New Jersey, and Boston (Oct. 6 – Maxwellís, Oct. 7 – Cambridge House of Blues, Oct. 9 or 10 – Village Underground). Neil will be performing new and old solo material as well as tapping into some Rutles and Bonzo Dog Band stuff. The shows will be the first stateside appearances for Innes in recent history. Yo La Tengo had the pleasure of having Innes as a featured player on their spring 2000 UK tour.
