The New Yorkers Against Violence Benefit Concert, brainchild of the legendary, home town hip-hop crew the Beastie Boys, has added a second night to the festivities. As reported on 10.17, the Beasties have recruited an all-star lineup for the benefit, scheduled for October 28 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, to help support the New York Womenís Foundation Disaster Relief Fund and the New York Association for New Americans. Another show has been added the following night (Oct. 29) which will see appearances by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Mos Def, The Roots and Afrika Bambaataa along with the BñBoys themselves. In case you missed it the first time, the lineup of the first show includes, along with the Beasties, the Strokes, the B-52ís, Saul Williams and Cibo Matto.
