STP Say They Want A Revolution, Well You Know

Add one more name to the list of influential rock stars who have used their powers for good rather than evil because the Stone Temple Pilots plan to release a version of the Beatlesí classic Revolution as a benefit single to aid the victims of September 11. The band first performed the song at Come Together: A Night For John Lennonís Words and Music, Dedicated to New York City and Its People and decided to hit Avatar Studios in NYC four days later to lay down the tracks. The single will be “enhanced” and includes special behind-the-scenes footage of the band in the recording studio. Revolution will be available November 27 with all proceeds going to the Twin Towers Fund.
