Elbow Announce First North American Tour Dates

The ambient pop effects of Manchester’s Elbow will soon be felt here in the States as the band will perform a handful of North American dates. Their Mercury Prize nominated debut album, Asleep in the Back, will most likely act as the soundtrack for the band’s first tour of the land of the free. Elbow sedated the brains of paying customers, and label slime at last year’s SXSW in Austin, and hope to have the same effect on the kids this time around. V2 will release the record January 22, 2002, and aside from the five dates planned for November the 5-piece intend on coming back once the record drops.
