Gorillaz & Belle And Sebastian Get Their Benefits On, Albeit Separately

The spirit of the season is upon us and is hitting certain bands more than others. Two of our
favorite bands, Gorillaz and Belle and Sebastian have announced plans to play
Red Cross benefit concerts in the days building up to Christmas. Damon Albarn and
Dan The Automator’s Gorillaz play two separate benefits shows, on December
15 at the Bristol Academy and at Fabric in London on December 17, while Belle and
Sebastian are due to play their gig at QMU in Glasgow on December 20. The fey Scot
pop act plans to play their own songs, mixed with both covers and “seasonal material.”
Anyone for a boozed up “Rudolph Was A Red-Nosed Indie Kid?”
