New Look Rage Plan February Release

Zack de la Rochaís departure from Rage Against the Machine in October of 2000 left the group with a huge creative void along with fans wondering if their favorite band was gone forever. The void was filled by former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who has penned 20 new songs since his arrival in late February of last year. A tentative release date for the new muse has been set for February 26, as the group continues to lay down tape in the studio, supervised by producing talents of rock / rap guru Rick Rubin. Rubin was also responsible for the knob twisting on Rageís final studio album with Zack de la Rocha, the collection of cover tunes titled Renegades. De la Rochaís debut solo project on Epic is moving along and includes collaborations with DJ Shadow, Roni Size, and Dan the Automator, though a release date and title have yet to be announced.
