Zwan Book A Few More Gigs

Fresh off the release of The Smashing Pumpkins’ two-disc Greatest Hits release, Billy Corgan continues to sing and play with his new project Zwan. The band, which consists of Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain on drums, Chavez’s former guitarist Matt Sweeney, and Skullfisher on bass, played a few shows last month in Los Angeles and will perform two more gigs next week. In an attempt to “say hey y’all” to the lamest markets on the planet, Zwan will play at the Intersection in Detroit on December 13, and the Emerson Theatre in Indianapolis on the 14th. There will not be a rodeo / hayride after the Indy show as previously announced, although the rumor of a “greased pig” contest still lingers. No word on when record buyers can spend their hard earned money on the new Zwan sounds.
