Dag Nasty has A Revelation to Begin New Record

Legenday 1980s D.C. hardcore act Dag Nasty has signed on with Revelation Records and will begin recording in January 2002. The band had been dormant for some time before recording and releasing a new song in 1999 for the Disarming Violence compilation, which led to widespread rumors of a triumphant return for the group. With those rumors finally beginning to come true, Revelation Records and Nasty fans everywhere are counting the days until they can get an earful of the new goods (though no one really knows when that will be). Featuring the line up from both Can I Say (Dischord) and Four On The Floor (Epitaph) of Dave Smalley- vocals (DYS, All, Down By Law), Brian Baker- guitars, (Minor Threat, Bad Religion), Colin Sears- drums, and Roger Marbury- bass, the crew will once again team up with Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in D.C. The album will be produced by Brain Baker and Doug Hansgen who will continue Dag Nastyís classic hardcore sound.
