Rolling Stone reports that Evan Dando, the voice and wasted mind of the Lemonheads, will release his first solo record in the new year. Technically every Lemonheads album is a Dando solo effort, as the cast has rotated more times than Winona Ryder’s boyfriends (which includes Dando). If he remembers where the gigs are, Dando will play Philadelphia, Boston, New York and Hoboken, New Jersey, from December 28th to the 31st. Live at the Brattle is Dando’s most recent release, consisting of live version of Lemonheads treats, along with covers and country songs. The live record also comes with an EP under the name The Griffith Street.
