Chili Peppers Ready Follow Up to Californication

It only took six months, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers have finished recording the instrumental tracks for the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 1999ís Californication. Anthony Kiedis is currently in the process of recording his vocals and is estimated to reach completion by February. If everything goes as scheduled, the record will hit the shelves sometime in April or May. The funk-rockers gave fans a savory morsel of what is to come at the Silver Lining Benefit in LA on December 15th. The group got asses shaking with “Donít Forget,” “Universally Speaking,” and “Fortune Faded” during their forty-five minute set.
