Super Bowl Sunday Pre-Game Festivities Full Of Song

The lineup for Super Bowl Sunday either got a little more super or gave people a reason to
get a little more drunk, depending on your point of view. In addition to the already named
halftime act spectacular, U2, the pre-game show lineup has now been announced.
Canadian yuppie groovers Barenaked Ladies will kick off the festivities, followed
by ska-poppers-in-the-limelight No Doubt. “Headlining” the kick-off show is one
of the godfathers of rock himself, Sir Paul McCartney. He will be performing
“Freedom” with a backing ensemble of 500 youths, who are believed to symbolize the
worldwide audience of the huge sporting event. Also in the mix are Mary J. Blige
and Marc Anthony, who will duet on “America The Beautiful.” Festive, indeed
