Don’t forget to set your VCR’s or Tivo’s or whatever show recording contraption you might have to NBC this Saturday night (11:30/10:30c) for what could be the greatest edition of Saturday Night Live…EVER. Fresh off his film roles in Shallow Hal and Orange County, the Tenacious D mouthpiece Jack Black will host the sketch comedy show with musical guest The Strokes. Lorne Michaels may or may not have said, “I want everyone who is not in the main cast this week to have black shaggy hair in their eyes at all times…no exceptions”. The Shitty Beatles are playing a secret show tonight at the Mercury Lounge in NYC, which you should probably check out if you are in the mood to get Stroked.
