Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Meat Puppets founding guitarist Curt Kirkwood, and Sublime / Long Beach Dub All-Stars time keeper Bud Gaugh have pooled their talents to form what Billboard calls a “supergroup.” Iím not going to kid anybody by labeling these guys a supergroup because, well, they just donít deserve it. The trio has named the new venture Eyes Adrift and debuted new material this past weekend with a couple small shows in Seattle and Portland. According to allstar news, the groupís sound is close to the Meat Puppetsí alt-country flavor. Eyes Adrift have been holed up in an Austin, Texas studio for the past few months and have come out of hiding for a short 12-day tour, with last weekendís shows kicking off the festivities.
