Oakenfold, Fatboy Bust A Groove With All Star Breakbeats

The world will now have the chance to sample the repertoire of two of its most beloved DJs with the release of a pair of discs by Paul Oakenfold and Fatboy Slim. According to Billboard, the two men have both compiled one discís worth of their favorite breakbeats, loops, grooves and scratches to be used as either a live experience simulation or a tool for up and coming heroes of the ones and twos to use during their own sets. Oakenfoldís Bust A Groove contains 14 tracks of loops and breakbeats followed by 25 shorter effects and scratches. Fatboy Slim’s contribution, All Star Breakbeats, comes complete with 11 longer tracks similar to Grooves with 60 shorter scratches and effects. Both of these albums will be released via Hypnotic Recordings on March 5.

In other world famous DJ news, the same dynamic duo is planning a small Japanese tour to coincide with Englandís matches in this yearís World Cup. The last time Fatboy hit up the Far East for a show, the plug was pulled after the first 30 minutes. However, that was China, and thatís another world all together.
