The Promise Ring Play SxSw, Announce UK Dates With Jimmy Eat World

The Promise Ring have lined up a few showcase showdowns of material from their forthcoming breakthrough piece, Woodwater. The Milwaukee crew will play the annual SxSw festival in Austin on March 14, release the record on April 23, and quickly head over to the UK (where the album was created) opening five shows for Jimmy Eat World. Woodwater was produced by Stephen Street who has previously worked with The Smiths and Blur. The first single, ìStop Playing Guitar,î will impact at specialty next week. Keep your eyes and ears open.
