Rock legend Paul McCartney will make his first late night talk show appearance in nearly a decade tonight (5/03) on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He is so fu*cking cool (and I mean that very seriously) that he will be the showís only guest! According to NBC, after ten years of shows with Leno at the helm, tonight will mark the first time the show has only booked one guest. In addition, NBC will air the network broadcast premier of McCartneyís newest music video “Your Loving Flame,” another first for the late night program. So cancel your Friday night plans, or at least set your Tivo, and cozy up on the couch with 1/2 of the most successful songwriting team in music history and my favorite Beatle.
