The Juliana Theory Ink With Epic, Enter Studio For Major Label Debut

Pennsylvania-based rock band, The Juliana Theory, have recently inked a deal with Epic Records and are wasting no time in readying their major label debut. The band, who have sold over 100,000 copies of their first two independently released albums, entered the studio last week with producer Jerry Harrison (Live, No Doubt) and engineer, David Schiffman (System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine) in hopes of being ready for an early-Fall release. According to a spokesperson at Epic, The Juliana Theory are excited to be working with such an admirable production team, saying, “we love that Jerry is coming from such a different place musically than we are. The fact that he is part of the team, will only enhance our sound and add a really unique, fresh perspective on our music.” In addition to the fresh ideas provided by the new production team, the band has been drawing inspiration from some timeless rock records, including the first few Zeppelin albums, Siamese Dream, The Joshua Tree, The Bends and The White Album.
