Strokesí “New York City Cops” To See US Release As B-Side

The controversial track “New York City Cops” will finally see the light of day in the US. The track, which was pulled from the US version of The Strokesí Is This It in light of the September 11th terrorist attacks, will be included as a b-side on the forthcoming single “Hard to Explain.” According to NME the single is set to drop in mid-April and will include a yet to be decided live track as well as the same glass-chair artwork that was featured on the UK release last June. The Strokes are currently touring overseas, but will be heading home for a date on Letterman on April 9th and a stop at the Coachella music festival on April 28th.
