The greatest rock band in the world will be performing on the Fox-TV sketch comedy show Mad TV on April 27. The D will be joined by Foo Fightersí frontman Dave Grohl on drums, former Redd Kross member Steve McDonald on bass and Warren Fitzgerald on guitar. According to Lauch.com, this will mark the first time the quintet has played together since the recording sessions for The Dís self-titled debut album. As previously reported, Tenacious D is currently on the road with Kid Rock and are gearing up to embark on their own headlining tour in April.
