Chicago-based roots rockers Wilco will release their long-awaited fourth album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on April 23 via Nonesuch. According to the bandís official website, Wilco will be hitting the road in mid April for a number of North American and European tour dates in support of the new record. According to Billboard, an April 30th appearance on Letterman is also confirmed. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was made available to fans in streaming form last year, amid the bandís much publicized label issues. Wilco urges listeners who may already own copies of the Internet files to view the albumís official release as a chance to repay the groupís generosity. The band are hoping to prove the opponents of on-line music wrong, by showing that unauthorized copies and online streams donít necessarily translate into lost sales. Click more for Wilco tour dates.
