Doves Flock To The US In June

UK sensations and media darlings Doves will drop their sophomore effort The Last Broadcast on June 4 via Capitol. The album is the follow-up to the bandís Mercury Music Prize-winning debut Lost Souls, which was released in April of 2000. According to Allstarnews.com, Doves are planning an extensive late spring / early summer tour, though nothing has been set. For those of you who are already salivating over this highly anticipated release, you will be happy to know that a sneak peek of the track “There Goes the Fear” will be provided on the April PLAYER (.031). Other songs included on the album are, “Words,” “M62 Song,” “Where We’re Calling From,” “N.Y.,” “Satellites,” “Friday’s Dust,” “Pounding,” “Last Broadcast,” “The Sulphur Man,” and “Caught by the River.” The Tripwire will keep you posted as tour information rolls in.
