April is going to be a big month for the hardest working band from Phoenix, Jimmy Eat World. The quartetís latest record Bleed American (or self-titled) just went gold, and the boys are moving on to their third single from the album ìSweetness.î On April 2 Jimmy Eat will perform at Irving Plaza in New York City, as part of MTV 2ís 2$ Bill Concert Series. These shows are a great showcase for the artists, and fans who want to check the event live need to keep it locked to the music channel or the jimmyeatworld.com site for more info. JEW will also plug in on Saturday Night Live on April 6th, with hottie host Cameron Diaz, which in itself is already an amazing show. Later this summer, the crew will join the first leg of the Pop Disaster tour with Green Day and Blink-182.
