Bowie Inks With Columbia, New Album Due In June

David Bowieís new album, Heathen, will hit the shelves on June 11, making it the first project released on the starís own ISO Records. Bowie, who broke free from Virgin Records in December, has signed a multi-album distribution deal with Columbia through ISO. Heathen, which is Bowieís first studio album since 1999ís Hours, was produced by long-time collaborator Tony Visconti and will feature a guest appearance by Pete Townshend of the Who. A number of summer US and European festival dates are being lined up in support of the new album, though no further information is currently available. We will keep you posted as soon as details become available.
