Coldplay Mixing New Album, Tentative Release Date Set

Sensitive Brit-rockers, Coldplay, have finished recording the follow-up to their 2000 platinum selling debut Parachutes. According to Billboard, the band is currently mixing the finished tracks with producer Ken Nelson in hopes of having it ready for a tentatively scheduled June 18th release date. There have been no reports as to the sound of Coldplayís as-yet-untitled sophomore effort, though manager Phil Harvey said, “I wonít degrade the work theyíve done by hyping it in my journal, but basically itís fucking good.” The band is expected to tour North America and Europe in support of the upcoming release.
