Coldplay Name Last Album?

Sensitive Brit-rockers Coldplay have titled their forthcoming release A Rush of Blood to the Head, though frontman Chris Martin told NME that it could be the bandís last. According to the UK music magazine, Martin has said that if the band canít improve upon their latest effort, they will not make another record. Martinís comments are full of mights and ifs, so try not to freak out. The bandís third album is a long way away, in fact, Coldplay is still putting the finishing touches on their sophomore effort and there will be plenty of time for the frontman to improve upon his latest batch of songs.

Chris Martin explains his comments:

“If someone said, ‘You’ve got to start a new album tomorrow’ I’d say, ‘I don’t think we can do better than this’. We’ll only do another album if we think it’ll be better. I don’t really care about the whole 15 album thing. I like the whole Joy Division approach, two albums then…well, not hang yourself!”
