Cornershop Brings Handcream To The Masses, Soft Skin Ensues

London-based quirky, eclectic, and funky rockers Cornershop will release the long awaited follow-up to 1997ís acclaimed When I Was Born For The Seventh Time on April 23 via Wiiija/V2. The album, entitled Handcream For A Generation, features a pair of tracks co-produced by the X-ecutionersí Rob Swift, which helps to give the album a unique dance flavor. However, Cornershop mastermind Tjinder Singh placed a high level of importance on making the songs easily transferable from studio to stage. According to MTV, the band will make that transfer happen live when they hit the road at the end of April for 20-date North American tour that includes, what else, a stop at the first night of Coachella.
