The White Stripes, the hottest thing to come from Detroit since Alan Trammell, will play two support slots for the legendary David Bowie. The band who once turned down an opening gig for Rob Zombie to consider playing a high school prom, will perform at the Quart Festival in Norway on July 3, and at Horsens in Denmark on July 5 according to Dotmusic.com. The bandís third record, White Blood Cells, has Soundscanned close to 145,000, and the video for ìFell In Love With A Girl,î can be seen more times on MTV2 than that tattooed retard Ian Robinson. Jack, Meg, guitar, drums, and amp will come back to the states for a 15 show tour beginning May 22 in Royal Oak, Michigan. The White Stripes can also be seen gracing their first US magazine cover on The FADER, which is on sale now.
