Mesa, Arizona pop/punk up-and-comers, Jimmy Eat World, want a piece of the headlining pie. According to Launch.com, at the conclusion of their stint as the opening act for the first half of Blink 182 and Green Dayís Pop Disaster Tour, Jimmy Eat World will look to embark on their own headlining trek. On the strength of the song, “The Middle” and a number of TV appearances, including SNL, the band has quickly become a household name. There is no Jimmy Eat World tour info as of yet, as the band is currently focused on warming up the crowd for Blink and Green Day, but weíll keep you posted. The Pop Disaster tour kicks off tonight (April 23) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
