Doves & Elbow: Tour of the Year Award Winner?

Ahhh, yeah. Instead of giving in to the Metal Tour of the Hour, we have some good news to
report. Coming soon to a venue near you…Doves and Elbow. That’s right,
two of your favorite bands of the past two years are touring together. The Mancunian
twosome are hitting the road together, with Doves supporting their brilliant
sophomore offering Last Broadcast, while the arm joint kids are still touring on the
almost-as-excellent Asleep in the Back. Doves will be dropping your favorite
album of the year on June 4, in case you were wondering.

Those Doves/Elbow dates in full, as reported by billboard.com (some venues unconfirmed, hence the two choices):

06.05.02 – San Francisco, CA (Great American Music Hall)
06.06.02 – Los Angeles, CA (Mayan Theatre)
