Pop-punk superstars Blink-182 will soon be transformed into yellow-skinned, four fingered, animated rock & rollers, as they will be guest starring on the Simpsonsí 300th episode. By making the trip to Springfield, Blink will join the likes of The Who, George Harrison, Spinal Tap, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Sonic Youth in the Simpsonsí guest appearance hall of fame. According to MTV, the band recorded their vocal parts for the tricentennial, which will air in February, on Wednesday of last week. The episode will feature the trio performing at the Skewed tour, a parody of the rock-meets-extreme-sports Warped Tour, which will also include a guest spot by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. When asked about the upcoming episode, Comic Book Guy had only this to say, “Worst episode ever.”
