The Rolling Stones Announce Tour Plans, From A F*#king Blimp

Rock legends the Rolling Stones, never ones to do things half-assed, hitched a ride on a yellow blimp (with their tongue-and-lips logo on it) to a press conference in the Bronx yesterday (5/7). The band emerged from the air ship to announce the details of their 2002-2003 world tour to an awaiting crowd of journalists. More surprising than the blimp ride is the wide range of venues the Stones have lined up. They will play arenas, baseball stadiums, ballrooms and theatres on the 32-date adventure. According to Launch.com, tickets will go on sale starting this weekend with Boston and Chicago on Saturday (May 11), San Francisco on Sunday (May 12) and New York on Monday (May 13). Check out the full itinerary.
