Live ñ Baldwin Brothers CD Release Party

Recipe for groovy music: mix 1/2 cup acid jazz, stir in 1/2 cup dance, sprinkle essence of electronica, set on well-lit stage for 60 minutesÖand BAM! Enjoy your fresh Baldwin Brothers with your favorite cold beverage! Friday, May 10 was their CD release party held at the Double Door in Chicago, IL, and they pulled no punches for this gig. One word can describe their performance -grooooovy! The night started with a goofy classical loop, which quickly turned into a high-energy ass moviní groove! Special guest Angie Hart followed up with “Deep Down” (my personal favorite), while Barron Ricks (”Urban Tumbleweed”) and Geri Soriano-Lightwood (”Ether”) joined later in the night to perform their respective songs. The Brothers looked more like a tripped out lounge band from Vegas than the ass moviní Chicago locals they were! Regardless, they had the house packed, and the crowd jumpiní into the wee hours of the morning!
