The long-running HBO hit series, The Sopranos, will finally return for its fourth season on September 15. The new episodes will premiere nearly a year and a half since the third season came to an end in May 2001. Eonline reports that the delay was due to the series creator David Chase and his anal, perfectionist vision. The third season will be released on DVD (as part of a box set) on August 27, although HBO is currently re-running those episodes each Sunday night. Things to remember: that Russian ìinterior decoratorî is still alive, Fairuza Balk is an FBI agent using Drea de Matteo to get ìinî with the family, and it’s rumored that nutbag Annabella Sciorra will also return.
