Courtney Love Claims To Have Rock & Rollís “Holy Grail”

Courtney Love, the slightly whacked widow of rock legend Kurt Cobain, claims to have over 109 tapes of unreleased material from her late husband. According to NME, the tapes contain mostly incomplete songs, but she thinks there are between five and eight “solidly good” unheard acoustic songs. Love also mentioned a song she co-wrote with Cobain, entitled “Stinking of You,” and songs recorded with Patty Schemel and Eric Erlandson of Hole. Love even has songs Cobain recorded with the pairís heroin dealer. Apparently, the Nirvana frontman would take his 4-track along on dope-scoring missions. Love is currently involved in a heated legal case with the remaining members of Nirvana over the ownership of Nirvana, LLC, a company set up after Kurtís death to handle the current and future assets of the band.
