As previously reported on The Tripwire, Olympiaís Sleater-Kinney will release their first new album since 2000ís All Hands on the Bad One this August. One Beat is the title of the forthcoming record from the all girl trio, which will be delivered to the hands of starving feminists and riot girls everywhere by Kill Rock Stars. The ladies are currently charming the pants off of East Coast fans, test driving new material which was once again produced by John Goodman (Dig Me Out, All Hands on the Bad One). According to Rollingstone, the confused crossdressing brainchild behind Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Stephen Trask, will make a guest appearance on the track “Prisstina.”
