Pixies Release Old Demos For New Cash

Fans of The Pixies will have new material to go out and purchase soon…well, not really new. An album comprised of demos called Pixies will come out on spinArt Records on July 9. According to Rollingstone.com, the demos, which were recorded back in 1987 at Bostonís legendary Fort Apache Studios, later became half of Purple Tape, and Come On Pilgrim. Early versions of “Here Comes Your Man,” “Subbacultcha,” “Broken Face,” and a few others will be available on this disc. Main man Frank Black will release two albums on August 20 (Devil’s Workshop, Black Letter Days) while The Breedersí new album Title TK comes out tomorrow on Elektra.
