Shadow Bails on Smokiní Grooves, Will Fly Solo All Summer

Acclaimed electronic superstar and one of the Faderís latest cover boys, DJ Shadow, has backed out of his scheduled appearances on this yearís Smokiní Groves Tour. According to Billboard, Camp Shadow has cited a scheduling conflict as the reason for the bail out. To make up for the missed shows, DJ Shadow will add a second leg to his upcoming solo jaunt, which kicks off tomorrow, June 4, with a show at NYCís Bowery Ballroom and wraps June 12 at LAís Mayan Theater. The newly added second leg will likely start in mid-July. With this summerís pair of US solo stints, Shadow will be supporting his latest masterpiece, The Private Press, which also hits the shelves tomorrow, June 4.
