Belle and Sebastian Release Storytelling, Say Goodbye To Isobel

Belle and Sebastian will deliver their new record, Storytelling, today via Matador Records. The Scottish folk heroes sent an email to their fans this morning, announcing the sad departure of cellist and singer Isobel Campbell. The adorable singer has been with the band since 1996, and during her downtime released solo joints under The Gentle Waves moniker. The part was amicable after Isobel returned home to during Belle and Sebastianís recent US tour. Storytelling features a string of instrumentals and music inspired by the Todd Solondz film of the same name.
