Oakenfold Gets Bunkka Tour Underway, Film Score To Follow

World-renowned DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold is set to drop Bunkka, his first album of original material, on June 18 via Maverick. Oakenfold began rolling though North America in support of the album yesterday (6/4) and will continue to do so through mid-July. Never one to take time off, Oakenfold is already planning to record another film soundtrack, this time for the upcoming film Psychoville, starring the real-life husband and wife duo of Jude Law and Sadie Frost. According to Rolling Stone, Oakenfold is considering opening a Stateside branch of his Perfecto Records, stemming from Americaís new found appreciation for dance music. He said, “Itís a wonderful scene here. I think this is the most exciting place at the moment.”
