Brick-laying ’80s pop-metal revivalist Andrew W.K. is taking his band of Bang
Tango fanclub members on the road to bring the the party to a town near you. With
tracks on his debut like the ominpresent “Party Hard” to other Coors beer sponsored gems
like “It’s Time To Party” there is unifying theme to most of Mr. W.K.’s work. The
working man’s musical hero will feature on the Ozzfest tour, and lord knows those kids like
to party. However, according to mtv.com, the follow-up single is due to be “She
Is Beautiful,” which I would think might confuse a number of cretins at the ‘fest. I guess it
remains to be seen whether white trash can get their heads around this momentary change of
direction of their hero.
