Forget about R. Kelly, Winona Ryder or Woody Allen’s lame ass court cases, let’s talk about a REAL star. Reuters reports that Philip Michael Thomas, the actor best known for playing the role of Tubbs opposite Don Johnson’s Crockett in the 1980s police drama/fashion runway show Miami Vice, was given a hefty sum of $2.3 million for missed payments for his role in telephone “psychic” commercials. Thomas, who has not acted since these memorable and highly (and we do mean HIGHly) hilarious commercials, has been fighting this case for eight years, and claimed he was owed $12 million. In other news Don Johnson recently underwent his 19th plastic surgery operation on his face while Edward James Olmos is still on the waiting list.
