In a match made in heaven, modern rockers Third Eye Blind will be teaming up with the Goo Goo Dolls for the second leg of the Goos’ North American summer tour. Along the way, Third Eye Blind will likely perform new material from their forthcoming Elektra release “Crystal Baller,” which is tentatively due out in October. According to Billboard, the album is being produced by frontman Stephan Jenkins and features guest spots by party rocker Andrew W.K., the Moldy Peachesí Kimya Dawson, and Limp Bizkitís Fred Durst. Third Eye Blind will kick off their stint with the Goos on July 29 in Phoenix, AZ, at the Cricket Pavilion and will continue through September 13 in Mountain View, CA, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. As previously reported, the Goos will wrap the first leg of their tour on July 2 in Seattle.
