Uh Hey Momma, Old Elvis Track Gets New Life

ìA Little Less Conversation,î a track that first appeared as the B-side to the Kingís 1968 single ìAlmost in Love,î according to the BBC, is making waves in the UK. The track, which was featured in a Nike football (soccer for us yanks) commercial and in last yearís Rat Pack remake, Oceanís Eleven, was remixed by Dutch DJ Junkie XL. However, Junkie was forced to change his name to JXL on the sleeve at the insistence of the Presley estate due to the drug reference in his name. The Nike ad has built momentum for the song that could put Elvis ahead of The Beatles in terms of total number one singles in the UK. According to NME, the two legends of rock ëní roll have been tied on 17 for years. Rumor has it that the track will make its way Stateside sometime this year. Stay tuned to The Tripwire for more info.
