Viva Death: Foo Fighters/Face To Face Join Forces

Foo Fighters axe man Chris Shiflett and brother Scott, who plucks the four-string for Face to Face, have teamed up with Face to Face frontman Trever Keith and session drummer Josh Freese (Vandals, A Perfect Circle) to record an album as Viva Death. According to Billboard, the 15-song set will be released August 27 from the good folks at Vagrant. Chad Blinman, who produced Face to Faceís latest Vagrant album How To Ruin Everything, was behind the boards for Viva Deathís self-titled debut as well. If scheduling can be worked out, Viva Death may tour behind the album, though no dates have been confirmed as of yet. Stay tuned for more info.
