Wallflowersí Red Letter Day Gets Unloaded in August

Second generation rocker Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers will release their fourth album, Red Letter Days, on September 24th. One-time Wallflowers axe-man Tobi Miller was brought on, along with Bill Appleberry to produce the 12-track album. Miller left the band in 1996 and was replaced by Michael Ward, who then left the band last year before the Red Letter sessions got underway. According to Rolling Stone, Dylan took over lead guitar duties for the album, though he did get some help from Peal Jamís Mike McCready and Val McCallum (Sheryl Crow, Joan Osborne). Dylan calls the new material “undoubtedly the strongest” of the Wallflowersí career and hopes to tour extensively to prove it. Expect a single to impact radio early August, though a specific track has yet to be selected.

Red Letter Day track listing:

“When You’re on Top”
“How Good It Can Get”
“Closer to You”
“Everybody Out of the Water

“Three Ways”
“Too Late to Quit”
“If You Never Got Sick”

“Health and Happiness”
“See You When I Get There”
“Feels Like Summer Again”
“Everything I Need”

“Here in Pleasantville”
