Chart-topping electronic DJ Junkie XL has inked a deal with XBOX to produce the soundtrack to a forthcoming racing game entitled Quantum Redshift. According to Billboard, Junkie XL will create 16 new, exclusive tracks that will be woven into the adrenaline packed game, which is tentatively scheduled for a September 10 release. The Dutch DJ/producer (real name Tom Holkenberg) and elusive superstar Elvis Presley (last seen pumping gas at Joeís Truck Stop in Boise, ID), have spent the past two weeks atop the UK charts with the formerís remix of “A Little Less Conversation,” which is featured in a Nike soccer ad coinciding with the Fifa World Cup. The funky single will see Stateside release tomorrow (June 25) by way of RCA/BMG. The song will also be included on Elvis 30 #1 Hits, a collection of 30 of the Kingís chart-topping singles, which will drop later this year.
